Question : I have a follow-up question to an earlier question. You said that there would be a different reality. How would we even know that it is different if we are in it ?

You're asking a question that can not really be answered by words but I will use an analogy that might give you a hint :

Imagine a light source, a 3D object and a screen. You project the shadow of the object onto the screen and you have different people look at the shadow at different times while you rotate the object. If the object is a ball everybody will agree on what they have seen. As soon as the object is more complex people will not agree anymore on what they have seen, because everybody saw the object from a different angle thus saw a different shadow.

Suppose for a minute that the people looking are a little dumb and they dont know yet how shadows work so they dont know they are looking at a shadow when they observe the screen, they believe they are looking at "the real thing". Once you explain to them what they are actually looking at and they understand that they are just seeing the 2-dimensional reflection of a 3-dimensional object they might decide to pool the information they gathered individually and try to draw conclusions on how the 3D object has to look like in order to produce the different shadows they have seen on the screen.

Something very similar is going on in this reality, except that the "screen" is 3-dimensional and the "object" is 4-dimensional (it is not really 4-dimensional but this simplification should do for now to get the message across). So what you are seeing in this reality are higher-dimensional plots playing out on a 3D-screen with hardly anybody being aware of "higher dimensions" thus believing that 3D-reality is all there is - just like the people from the example before believing that the 2D-shadow is "the real thing".

The reason why many spiritual traditions teach that "there is no truth" results from the insight that from a 3D-awareness you can only perceive your viewpoint of the truth but not "the truth". It is similar to claiming that the 2D-shadow you saw in the example before is "the only truth". It can not be, but it is still true because the way the object was turned when you saw it produced that shadow so it is true but somebody else saw a different shadow and his experience of the shadow was true aswell.

So seeking for truth within this 3D-reality is a good thing because you need many different vantage points to start drawing conclusions about how reality must be constructed to allow the collective experience of humanity. But as long as so many people are running claiming that they have "the only truth" and bashing everybody else's truth it will be really hard to figure out what is really going on
