Seven former officers of the US airforce jointly conducted a press conference on September 27th 2010 at the National Press Club in Washington to report on their experiences regarding UFOs at nuclear missile launch sites.
Robert Hastings who organized this press conference states: "Extraterrestrials have taken an interest in the nuclear arms race which began at the end of World War 2 and they are sending a signal to humanity that we are playing with fire."
Since 1973 Robert Hastings has gathered over 120 former and retired members of the US airforce and interviewed them about their experiences regarding UFOs. These military men - including a retired colonel and a former airplane pilot report on their extraordinary encouters with UFOs which are obviously of great significance for the national security and our entire planet.
Since 1981 Hastings has presented his findings at over 500 American universities. Hastings states: "I do not condemn any government for their politics of secrecy regarding UFOs but I believe it is time to inform the population about the facts."
This is the introduction to the press conference by Robert Hastings :
The first witness : Captain Robert SalasCaptain Robert Salas graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1964 and was on active duty in the airforce for 7 years where he worked as a nuclear missile launch officer. In 1969 Salas got his masters degree in airospace engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology. In 1971 he left the airforce and worked as a security engineer for Martin-Marietta Aerospace and Rockwell International on the design of the Space Shuttle. Starting 1973 until his retirement in 1995 he worked for the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on certification of airplane construction.
On March 24th 1967 he witnessed an incident where a UFO deactivated several nuclear missiles while he was on duty in the control room of the launch site. This is his testimony :

The second witness : Former Lieutenant Colonel Dwynne Arneson
Dwynne Arneson got degrees in physics and maths before he entered the US Air Force. He served for 26 years as a communication electronics officer. In 1967 he was officer in charge of the communications center at the 20th Air Division in Great Falls, Montana. He confirms what Robert Salas already said : His communication center received several messages on UFO sightings where nuclear missiles were deactivated.
During his later years in the service he had several conversations with military personnel which convinced him that UFOs are real.

The third witness : Robert Jamison (former targeting team commander)
Between January 1965 and October 1967 Robert worked at Malmstrom Air Force Base as combat missile targeting team commander. In March 1967 a UFO was seen hovering above the Oscar Flight missile silo and all atomic weapons went down, it was Robert's job to handle the problem. During his investigation he learned that the same event happened at a different base a week earlier at Echo Flight. Before driving to Oscar Flight to restart the missiles, Robert received a special military briefing on how to behave in case he encounters a UFO while being at the missile site.

The fourth witness : Charles Halt (former colonel & base commander)
Charles worked as a colonel for the US Air Force, he was a former base commander and worked in the department of defence. In 1980 Charles was reassigned as deputy base commander to the RAF Bentwaters Base in United Kingdom. In December 1980 strange lights were reported in the forest close to the base indicating a possible UFO landing. Charles personally inspected the site and found indentations in the ground and radiation 8-9 times above normal. He witnessed several UFOs flying at high speeds, one of them suddenly stopping right above his head and sending down a beam of light. A tape recording by Charles of the events of that night is available

The fifth witness : Jerome Nelson (former deputy missile crew commander)

In winter 1963-64 while being on duty in the launch control center he received a call from military security personnel that a UFO was hovering above one of the missile silos. He reported to incident but never got any feedback. This kind of incidence happened several times over the next few weeks, everytime he receive no feedback and was met with indifference.

The sixth witness : Patrick McDonough (former geodetic surveyor for the US Air Force)
After studying engineering, Patrick started to working for the US Air Force in 1962 as geodetic surveyor to provide precide coordinates for missiles or aircraft navigation systems. In September 1966 Patrick worked at Malmstrom Air Force Base in the site activation taskforce for 50 new missiles that had been built there. At about 1:00 to 1:30 in the morning, while performing astronomical measurements Patrick and two other military officiers witnessed a UFO at the altitude of 300 feet with a diameter of 50 feet flying directly above their heads shining a beam of light right into the missile silo. From the military police Patrick learned that the same night a total of 20 UFO sightings had been reported.
